Adey is the soul and character of The Opera Cabaret. Her generous and witty introductions and explanations hold our audience entranced.

It is a highlight to hear Adey sing. She always does Verdi proud in every Opera Cabaret with her dazzling performance of the Brindisi from La Traviata.   Regulars will remember her astonishing Queen of the Night aria, complete with bells and whistles (!) ~  her lead in the Ride of the Valkyries, and of course her magical duet with Bob Bryan, ‘Pur ti miro’, from L’incoronazione di Poppea.  

And is there anyone else who could turn an audience of 300 well fed fans into a world class opera chorus singing "Va pensiero", the rousing end to every Opera Cabaret?
Adey is a writer as well as a singer. She and composer Mike Henry wrote a remarkable opera called Circus Tricks. Here is an extract from their rehearsal performance for Tete a Tete Opera ~ start from 3'50":
